IT IS OUR 30TH BIRTHDAY
We have spent a few days practising and getting used to the new rules and restrictions, and now feel confident that we can be Covid-19 secure for a number of visitors. So we are celebrating our 30th birthday by being open from 29th August onwards on the days when the Severn Valley Railway are running their trains. More details of those days and opening hours can be seen here. We would ask you to co-operate with our staff in implementing the rules and restrictions. You will be asked to sanitise your hands before being allowed into the building, and face coverings should be worn whilst looking around, whilst at the same time respecting social distancing. We do hope you will be able to pay us a visit soon.
RAILART 2020 This event has been CANCELLED due to the current situation relating to the Corona Virus pandemic. For a further explanation please click here. CORONA VIRUS UPDATE We continue to monitor the Government advice and although we are opening from 29th August, we are mindful that visits to the museum cannot be as carefree as they once were if we are to be confident of being Covid-19 secure. We hope that you will come and see us but be patient if you need to be whilst we try and accommodate all those who wish to come. However, we will still remain closed for large-scale public events and activities until it is possible to hold them in complete safety for our staff and for visitors. In the meantime we hope that you all manage to continue to stay safe and well and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as you are able to come. |
